PositionSr. Data Warehouse Engineer

 

Location: Remote - USA

 

Compensation: 135K-145K, DOE

 

Position Summary: 

We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on Senior Data Engineer, who would be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining complex, advanced and scalable cloud data warehouse and big data solutions. This includes developing robust data pipelines, architecture and datasets to support our data driven decision-making process.









Responsibilities






  • Design and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines to process and analyze large datasets.
  • Develop and maintain data architecture including data warehouse and data lake.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientist, Analysts and Senior Data Engineers to understand data needs and deliver high quality data solutions.
  • Ensure Data Quality and Integrity across various sources and systems.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot data systems for performance and scalability.
  • Build cost efficient end-to-end automaton.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.








Qualifications






  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in CS, Engineering or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in ETL development and Data Warehousing.
  • Extensive experience in Snowflake, Airflow or similar ETL tools.
  • Optimize existing data pipelines for performance, scalability and reliability using best practices.
  • Proficiency in Programming languages such as Python.
  • 2+ year experience with AWS and Azure.
  • Hands-on experience in Rest/Restful API development.
  • Familiarity with Semi structured Databases such as Cosmos.
  • Strong experience with SQL.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflow, change management and deployment processes.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that can be easily maintained and extended by the team.
  • Provide support for critical production systems as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of data modelling and schema design.
  • Snowflake/Cloud certifications.
  • Familiarity in Mortgage Space.

Work Authorization: Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
